Defined by a bold, iconic silhouette, this residence reinterprets the familiar form of a traditional pitched roof through the lens of contemporary tropical architecture. Clean white volumes, exposed concrete slabs, and restrained materiality create a timeless architectural language, while carefully proportioned openings frame light, landscape, and views. The design embraces simplicity, allowing form, space, and natural materials to become its strongest expression.
At the heart of the home is a generous north-facing courtyard, conceived as the project's primary living space. More than an outdoor void, it functions as a climatic and social core—bringing soft northern light, natural ventilation, and lush tropical planting deep into the house. The surrounding living areas and continuous circulation overlook this landscaped courtyard, creating a seamless dialogue between indoors and outdoors. The result is a home that feels open, tranquil, and deeply connected to nature, where every space is anchored by the presence of the central courtyard.
